Sony TC-K555

Here is a Sony TC-K555 that i just picked up at a very good price of $ 80.95 U.S. .... These are pics as i just got it... It powered on but did not play... So all ive done so far is clean heads and pinch rollers and put the belt back on that had come off... Its currently playing and sounds good... Will be putting belts on it soon... And will try to take more pics. In these pics i see a few interesting things..

1  power button is bent,

2 loose screw holding down board.

3  Why is this green wire loose and not tucked away ? is it normal to find like this ?  Seems weird to have a loose wire like this and so easy to break it... Comes off board and wraps around plastic mount then down to solenoid windings ??

Carl ... You lucky guy There is a Polish proverb: "You don't look in the teeth of a donated horse";) Now seriously: I would move the green wire aside to avoid accidental breaking. You are right about that. Overall the machine looks pretty good. This is a very good buy.

Seems to be much fuller ?? sound then my older Sony TC-K 55,,61,,65,,71..

That green wire actually looks pinched where it wraps around plastic looking mount...
